Welcome everyone - friends and colleagues,
On Saturday, October 7th, Israel suffered a lethal mass attack by Hamas terrorists aimed at the Gaza perimeter communities in Israel, near Israel’s western border. What was soon termed the country’s “Black Sabbath” saw many Israelis – more than a thousand ordinary men, women, and children, even infants and the elderly, along with uniformed community security teams, local police and soldiers – ambushed and killed, or grievously wounded, or forcibly abducted to Gaza. Israel went to war with the aim of uprooting the criminal perpetrators on the other side of the fence.
As Israeli medical professionals, we experienced, like the entire nation of Israel, a massive upheaval on the one hand – and Israeli strength and unity on the other. Some of us fought on the battlefield and some of us treated the hundreds of wounded including hostages returning from captivity, as medical centers throughout the country were swamped. We honor all our friends, doctors and medical teams from around the world, and we thank you for embracing and supporting us during these difficult days.
Like the bright red anemones that have once again blossomed in the Gaza perimeter, we plan to convene our TLV Breast Meeting as originally planned (with minor changes).
The TLV Breast Meeting 2024 will be held from July 10-12, 2024, for the third time. The purpose of the conference is to present innovations and share knowledge and experience with breast surgery, aesthetic and reconstructive.
Our goal is to produce an interesting and inspiring meeting, with a diverse and in-depth scientific program, revealing all the latest surgical techniques, research and innovations in the field of breast surgery.
The meeting is an excellent opportunity for colleagues to exchange knowledge and experience, with unlimited access to faculty and industry.
Our teaching staff, both international and local, are leading experts in the field of breast aesthetics and reconstruction. The meeting will include step-by-step surgery videos, professional lectures, panels and discussions, presentation of cases, micro-anastomosis and ultrasound workshops, interactive tutorial sessions and much more.
On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, starting at midday, we will open at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History in Tel Aviv. On Thursday and Friday, July 11-12, at the David Intercontinental Hotel, we will continue with plenary sessions, workshops and meetings in small groups led by the faculty from abroad.
Tel Aviv is the city that never stops and on Thursday, July 11, the day will close with a party – dinner and dancing, alcohol and good music.
We would like to thank the conference sponsors for supporting our meeting.
